When I was small I had aa big gang of friends in my group in my society. We all were almost of age. We all society members used to celebrate all the festivals with great entusiasm n dance n food. We all baccha party gang loved this celebration of all festivals. And thats not all …for all the festivals some game or competition was also fixed. For Diwali we had one minute game, for christmas we had fancy dress n for navratri we had dance competition. But when holi came there used to be no celebration . We all were very upset with this . So once we went to our society’s secretary N we gave her our proposal of celebrating holi . She refused n said celebration of Holi means waste of water chemical colours n sin problems. We were very sad after hearing this.
But we were sure this time that we r going to celebrate holi n teach our elders how to celebrate n enjoy holi. We all kiddos started thinking of different ideas how to convince them for holi celebrations. One of my friends said we will call all of our parents down in the garden with some excuse. And when when all of them come we quitely throw colours on them. But then we were scared of getting scoldings.
When we were discussing all these we saw our neighbour sociwty’s preparation. They had out showers near garden . They had called water tanker for those shower connection. They had called DJ also. We all were feeling like we want to shift to that society.Coz they celebrate this festival very nicely.
We started thining of other plan . One idea came to my mind that we all will mae organic colours n dont use water. We thought for green colour We brought methi leaves from our homes we made paste of it. For yellow colour We brought haldi powder n made paste of it. And for red colour We brought beetroot n made paste of it. We showed our this idea to our elders. N again requested them to play holi with these organic colours n no use of even single drop of water. Our parents were so very surprised to see all this. And finally they agreed to play holi with these organic pastes.!!!!!!!!!!!
All parents were very happy after playing holi like this . N they all were very proud of us.
